At Mahilam Clothing, customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. While we take the utmost care in quality checks and packaging, we understand that unexpected issues can occur. This policy outlines how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges to ensure transparency and fairness.
Eligibility for Return & Refund
We only accept return or refund requests in cases of product damage or manufacturing defects. To initiate a request, the following conditions must be met:
1. A parcel opening video must be recorded from the moment the package is being opened. This serves as valid proof in case of a damage or defect.
2. The issue must be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving the product.
3. Once approved, the item must be shipped back and received by us within 7 days from the date of delivery.
4. The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags and labels intact.
Returns and refunds will not be entertained if these conditions are not met or if the return is requested for reasons such as change of mind, size preference (if correct as per description), or dislike of color.
Parcel Opening Video Requirement
To avoid misuse and ensure fair resolution, a clear and continuous video recording of the package being opened is mandatory.
- The video should clearly show the outer packaging, the unsealing of the parcel, and the product inside.
- Any visible damage or defect should be captured in the same video.
- Send the video to us via WhatsApp within 24 hours of delivery.
Refund Process
1. Once your video and complaint are received, our team will review the issue and notify you of the next steps.
2. If your return is approved, you will be asked to ship the item back to us.
3. After we receive and inspect the returned product, we will offer one of the following:
- A replacement of the same product (subject to stock availability), or
- 2. A refund to your original payment method.
Refunds, once approved, will be processed within 5–7 business days after we receive the returned item.
Exchanges
We allow product exchanges only if the item is received in a defective or damaged condition.
1. Exchanges are subject to approval and availability of stock.
2. To request an exchange, please follow the same process as the return request (including parcel opening video).
Items Not Eligible for Return
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Products without a valid parcel opening video
- Sale, discounted, or clearance items
- Customized, altered, or personalized orders
- Items damaged due to customer mishandling
Return Shipping Details
- You will be responsible for covering the return shipping charges unless the error is on our part.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted (if prepaid).
- We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over ₹2,500.
